In the fall of 1992, I accepted my first writing contract, took a course in desktop publishing, and, with mates from university, laid the groundwork for an Internet communications company. Print production took a back seat to web production; writing projects included articles, press releases, client reports, and web site copy.

I left the business in '96 and began freelancing, mostly in web production at first, though I found my way back to print, my preferred medium. Along the way, I worked with some excellent art directors and project managers.

Since completing an MA in Philosophy in 2003, I have devoted more time to writing and editing and have been privileged to work with talented editors, writers and thinkers.
